Jaclyn  joined CLSA in June 2014 as Managing Director, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. She currently oversees both Legal and Compliance globally, and is a member of CLSA’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to the CEO and Chairman of CLSA.  She has over 18 years experience working in Asia (primarily in M&A, debt and equity capital markets). Prior to joining CLSA, Jaclyn worked at Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong covering the entire Asia-Pacific region. Henri Arslanian is the PwC FinTech & RegTech Lead for China/Hong Kong. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong where he teaches graduate courses on Entrepreneurship in Finance as well as the first FinTech university course in Asia.

Henri is a TEDx speaker, a published author, and currently sits on several finance, academic, government, civil society, and FinTech/RegTech related boards and advisory boards in Asia and globally. Henri is a member of the Hong Kong regulator’s SFC FinTech Advisory Group and the Hong Kong government’s FSDC Fintech working group. He also sits on the board of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong and the board of the International RegTech Association.

Before joining PwC, Henri was with a FinTech start-up and previously spent many years with UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong. Henri started his career as a financial markets and funds lawyer in Canada and Hong Kong.

Joe Cunningham is the Chief Regional Risk Officer for Visa in Asia Pacific, with responsibility for championing security in the industry and maintaining the integrity of the payments ecosystem. Arnaud Davoust joined Societe Generale in 2006 in Paris as a pricer on exotic equity derivatives. In 2010 he took responsibility of the cross-asset pricing team in Europe, dedicated to wealth management clients. Tanuj is a senior portfolio manager in the Global Multi-Asset team at Nikko Asset Management. He is responsible for managing the teams’ Global Multi-Asset and Alternative Risk Premium funds. Associate, Davis Polk (HK)

Reuben Grinberg is an associate in Davis Polk’s Financial Institutions Group. His practice focuses on advising financial institutions and industry groups on a wide range of bank regulatory matters, including Dodd-Frank Act regulatory implementation, the preparation of living wills, enhanced prudential standards and intermediate holding company issues, Basel III capital and liquidity issues, and financial institution capital markets and M&A transactions. In addition, Mr. Grinberg provides strategic, transactional and regulatory advice to a wide array of both established and emerging participants on cybersecurity and FinTech issues, including the regulatory treatment of virtual currencies and blockchain. Ir Dr Hui is the founder and Honorary Director of the Center for Information Security & Cryptography, and concurrently an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Hui received his BSc and MPhil degrees in computer science from The University of Hong Kong, and his MSc and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of California, Davis. He has published more than one hundred research papers in international journals and conferences, has been invited to be keynote speaker of international conference, and has obtained more than 20 million Hong Kong dollars (more than 2.5 million US dollars) research grants including several industrial collaboration projects. The technology developed in those project had been used by various government and commercial organizations. He also provides consultancy services for security evaluation of software systems and e-payment systems, including the e-cheque initiative by the Hong Kong government.

His research interests include Information Security, Cryptographic Systems, Internet of Things Security, Electronic Commerce Security, Cyber-Physical System Security and Computer Forensics. He is a member of HKIE and a senior member of IEEE.

Mr. Wong has more than 35 years of insurance experience and is the Director & General Manager of Hong Leong Insurance (Asia) Limited.  In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall management and development of the company operation in Hong Kong. In the meantime, he also provides support to the Group Companies in the development of other business initiatives within the Asian Pacific region, such as Singapore and China.

Dr. Meikei Ieong is Chief Technology Officer of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology
Research Institute (HK ASTRI), responsible for the overall R&D strategy and execution. Prior to this,
he held various leadership positions in leading technology companies, including Vice President of
TSMC Europe B.V., 28nm R&D Director at TSMC, Taiwan, and senior manager of Exploratory
Devices at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY. He was adjunct professor at
the Electrical Engineering department of Columbia University, NY. He has published more than 100 papers in journals and conference proceedings and more than 80 patents. His publication has more than 9,000 citations. Dr. Leong was General Chair of the IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) (2010) and served in the technical committee in many international conferences such as IEDM, VLSI Technology Symposium, EDTM, VLSI-TSA, IWCE. He serves in the Board of Governor of the IEEE Electronic Devices Society (EDS). He is member of the IEEE EDS Electronic Material committee and publication committee. He is also chair of the IEEE EDS Education award committee (2013-present). Dr, Ieong is an IEEE Fellow in recognition of his leadership and contributions to Complementary Metal-Oxide-
Semiconductor (CMOS) Device Technology.

Dr. Jeannot is a cryptography and security expert, and the founder and CEO of APrivacy, an award-winning company that provides the financial services industry with secure and seamless communications on any platform, any device, anywhere. An expert in the field of cryptography, authentication, and key management, Dr. Jeannot leads the strategic direction, research and development efforts for all APrivacy’s products. He is a frequent speaker at digital security conferences worldwide and has been quoted in a number of global press publications. Chief Fintech Officer - Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) (HK)

Nelson Chow has been appointed to the present position from 1 September 2016 with responsibilities for facilitating the healthy development of the fintech
ecosystem in Hong Kong and promoting Hong Kong as a fintech hub in Asia.

He joined the HKMA in 2004 and was responsible for the supervision of banks’ technology risk management and business continuity planning as well as the
formulation of related policies and guidelines. He was the Deputy Chief Representative of the New York Office in 2010. After returning to Hong Kong in 2013, he took up responsibilities to supervise banks’ operational risk management and perform macro-prudential data analysis. Prior to joining the
HKMA, Mr Chow was a Vice President of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. responsible for information risk management of the Asia Pacific region. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland and a Master of Science degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.



Managing Director - GSX Limited (Gibraltar)

Nick formed GSX as Managing Director in 2012. In November 2014 GSX received its full license and formally opened GSX, Gibraltar’s first Stock Exchange. He is a specialist in investment business with over 30 years experience working in both Japan and Europe.

Born in England, Nick started work in 1984 working in Newton Asset Management in London before moving into investment banking, trading derivatives at Japanese securities company Yamaichi. After being headhunted by Baring Securities he was posted to Tokyo in 1989 as Head of Trading (Managing Director) where he oversaw the transition from an open outcry trading system to screen based OTC. On returning to the UK in 1992, he was hired by Bear Stearns as Head of Trading (Managing Director) in their London office to help establish Bear as a leader in Emerging Markets.

In 1996, Nick joined ING Barings as the Global Head of Equity Trading, managing the global risk of Equities, Derivatives and Convertible Bonds with 250 traders in 24
countries. During his tenure Nick created and implemented globally Trading Practices, a protocol for order execution and risk management. In 1999 Nick became Global Head of Equities (Executive Director) and Member of the Executive Board of ING Barings, overseeing 2,500 employees in 43 countries, revenues in excess of US$1 bln, 40 Stock Exchange memberships and large departments of Derivatives, Convertible Bonds, Prime Brokerage and Futures and Option Clearing in the main global financial centres. Nick was also jointly responsible for Equity Capital Markets. During his tenure Nick oversaw a large number of acquisitions, divestments and restructurings to restore profitability for ING.

Jenny Sutton has 30 years’ consulting and industry experience, primarily in life insurance. She has held leadership positions in large corporate and consulting firms and small businesses/startups, including Partner at Deloitte Consulting, and responsibility for Partnership Distribution at Manulife Asia. Her work experience has addressed business strategy; technology and operations design and implementation; distribution strategy and execution. Rebecca Brosnan is an angel investor and adviser to technology start-ups around the world. From 2010 to 2016, Brosnan served in various senior roles at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited an owner and operator of three securities and derivatives exchanges and five clearinghouses. In her ultimate role as Managing Director, Head of Product Development, she was responsible for the design of investment products and risk management tools including ETFs, structured products and equity, fixed income, currency and commodity derivatives. This built on her experience on having successfully developed and launched new commodities products 

One of her largest areas of contribution at HKEx was in developing and then executing on the strategy that led HKEx into the global commodities market. Brosnan served as Managing Director, Head of Asia Commodities, responsible for the London Metal Exchange’s business in Asia-Pacific. In this role she managed sales and marketing teams in the Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore offices to covering industrial and mining clients in China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia while also keeping in sync with the head office of the LME in London. In this role she executed a strategy, which had served as the rationale for the acquisition of the LME, a deal Brosnan had run while Senior Vice President, Head of the Business Development and Strategy. She was responsible for identifying potential strategic opportunities as well as contributing to the long-term strategic plan of HKEx. In this capacity Brosnan developed HKEx’s commodities strategy and lead the team that acquired the LME.
